MBA ZoNe was conceptualized by Brenda Mizgorski in 1998, during her 1st year of MBA School at The Wharton School.  Realizing the need for a place where essential resources are aggregated and knowing the potential value to students, alumni, firms and faculty, she decided to bring her idea online.

The basic concept of MBA ZoNe centers around the timeline of the "MBA experience" - before, during, and after MBA school.  Here's a little rundown of what each area has in store for you:

The section for Prospective MBAs has information for everyone thinking about pursuing an MBA.   There's stuff on the GMAT, MBA School information, rankings, the application process, distance learning and financial aid.  But wait!  There's more...better go visit!

MBA Students: Career/Job | Course Resources | Discussion Forum
MBA Students have special needs.  You need to find pertinent information and you must find it fast or else a major deadline will suffer.  MBA Students is the place where you'll find Vital Resources on areas such as Finance & Economics, Marketing & Strategy, Global Strategy, Leadership, etc., etc..  But the help does not stop here!  There is a section for Your Career where you can read up on the Summer Internship process, find the perfect job and relocate for the summer.

MBA Alum: Alumni Resources | Discussion Forum
MBA Alum is for those who have obtained the Holy Grail - the MBA degree.   If you are one of the chosen, there's information to help you stay in touch with the "MBA side of you".  Plus, now that you are done with your MBA, that means you have more time on your hands (huh?) so the upcoming Weekend Journal section should fit nicely into your weekly routine.  The MBA Alum section will be expanding in the next few months, so stay tuned!
